Student Council
Purpose:
Section 1: The Student Council shall meet to organize and carry out school-wide activities that are of interest to the students.
Section 2: The Student Council shall create and encourage student enthusiasm through active participation in school activities.
Section 3: The Student Council shall maintain a safe and enjoyable learning environment for the school community by setting a good example for others.
Section 4: The Student Council shall raise money through fund-raising activities to meet their particular goals and on-going school, District, and community projects.
Section 5: The Student Council shall submit all projected programs, events, and activities to the school advisor, and or school principal for support and approval.
Meeting Norms:
- Be Respectful: Listen to others when they are speaking and raise your hand to contribute. Be kind and polite in your words and actions.
- Stay On Task: Focus on the current topic and avoid distractions. Help the group stay productive.
- Participate Actively: Share your ideas, ask questions, and support others in expressing their thoughts.
- Encourage Teamwork: Work together to come up with solutions and ideas, and be open to different opinions.
